INCANA is sponsored by APAARI, AARINENA, CACAARI, ICARDA, GFAR and AREO.

APAARI, AARINENA, ICARDA and GFAR agreed to contribute US $ 20,000 initially in the first year to start the Network activities. Government of the I.R. Iran was also requested to support this network. All NARS leaders also have agreed to have INCANA endorsed by their respective governments.

Each country agreed to host the Annual Meeting in rotation.

 All Directors of the National Cotton Research Institutes of the member countries would be as the members of the INCANA Steering Committee, including the representatives of AARINENA, APAARI, GFAR, CACAARI, ICARDA, and AREO.
